OVERSEAS/EXPORT ORDERS

Export orders are exempt from Australian Government taxes, however, any duty or taxes applicable in the country of destination are payable by the customer.

We can send wine to most overseas destinations although there are some exceptions.

Door to door air freight can be arranged to most destinations. Freight charges include pick up from the winery, packaging in unbreakable cartons, all export documentation, air freight to destination, customs clearance and delivery to your address.

* Not all states in America allow personal import of wine, and some restrict quantities and volumes allowed. Please check with Capercaillie for information pertaining to your destination. Customers in the USA must provide their social security number and sign a power of attorney form. This gives the freight company (BAX Global) rights to act as the customer's import broker. USA Customs and tax calculations will also be collected by BAX on behalf of the US government.

Timing

Most shipments will be delivered approximately 10 days from dispatch from the winery.

Sea Freight

Sea freight can only be arranged to our customs agent in London at a flat freight rate of $65 AUD per carton. This usually takes up to 3 months and does not include Duty and VAT payable on arrival. All wine must be collected from the agent's premises at Heathrow Airport by the consignee or by a carrier arranged by that person.
